Sport: Las Palmas Hold Barcelona To 1-1 Draw
Barcelona failed to extend their lead at the top of the LaLiga table, after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Las Palmas on Thursday night.
The Catalans came into the match 14 points clear of rivals Real Madrid.
A win over Las Palmas would have seen Barca stay eight points ahead of second-placed Atletico Madrid.
Contrary to speculation, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez started the match.
Messi gave his side the lead with an exquisite free-kick, but West Ham flop Calleri equalized from the spot for the relegation battlers.
Ernesto Valverde’s men take on Atletico next on Sunday, in what has been dubbed a title-deciding fixture.
